Steven Harkin has been an artist, designer, maker, and producer of leather bags for some 35 years. Steven’s creative wit and innovative design, has gained him international recognition, and seen his handbags acquired by both public and private collections across the globe.

Australian born, Harkin spent several years developing and establishing skills and markets in Italy before moving to London, where he was a Senior Lecturer of Leather Accessories at London College of Fashion for half a decade.

He now lives in South East England (Folkestone) where, together with his partner, he runs Anecdotes Design, a lifestyle shop selling his handbags, upcycled furniture and British independent design.
