Shane Cargill

Shane Cargill is an Australian designer specialising in the design and production of interior art, signage and lighting features for retail interior spaces. With over thirty years of experience in the industry, Shane has worked projects for film and television, museums, retail interiors, signage as well as public art, mainly with regards to interior and lighting features.

Shane has also collaborated on various campaigns, including with Clemenger Proximity on Yellow Pages Mobile, creating individually hand-made pigeons for billboards on Melbourne’s City Link tollway, creating public art installations for WorkSafe, Powerade, the Australian Institute of Sport, installations in Dubai, Caroline Springs and more.

Shane has also collaborated on the large public art sculpture ‘Shaft’ with sculptor Martin Moore, displayed at the Wonthaggi Centennial Centre in Bent Street, Wonthaggi, a striking piece that gives the view the tactile impression of a coal face.
