Paolo Tassinari

Paolo Tassinari is a partner in the Tassinari/Vetti design studio in Trieste, known for its outstanding work in the fields of editorial design, visual identity, communication and exhibition design.

Co-founded by Paolo in 1985, the studio works mainly for public institutions, museums, major exhibitions and cultural events.

Identity and communication projects have recently been developed for the National Museum of the Palace of Versailles, Palacongressi of Rimini, Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana at Venice, Rome Archeological Heritage Service, the Naples Theatre Festival, the New Archeological Museum of Reggio Calabria, the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Palazzo Belmonte Riso in Palermo, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Rome Modern Art National Gallery, the Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale.

Paolo was awarded the prestigious Compasso d’Oro/Assocation of Industrial Design prize in 2011 for the visual identity of the Naples Theatre Festival.

He is also Art Director of the international architecture magazine Casabella and art director of the art and architectural branch of the publishing house Electa.

A member of Alliance Graphique Internationale since 2006, Paolo has been visiting professor at Trieste University, is currently teaching at the Polytechnic School of Design in Milan, and is co-author of ‘Sussidario’, published in 2011.
