Leonardo Sonnoli graduated from the High Institute of Industrial Arts of Urbino and he is a partner of Tassinari/Vetta studio in Trieste. His practice ranges from the design of visual identity for private and public companies to the communication for cultural events, book design, signal systems and exhibition display.
Major projects include: visual identity design for the 50th Venice Biennale, exhibition design for a series of archaeological shows at the Colosseo in Rome, typographic installation at Palazzo Grassi in Venice, visual identity design of Cardi Black Box contemporary art gallery, collaboration with the New York Times and art direction of Electa Art Publishing House in collaboration with Paolo Tassinari.
Since 2000, Sonnoli is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale and President of the Italian Chapter (2003). He lectures at the Faculty of Design and Arts of the IUAV University of Venice and at the ISIA in Urbino. He lives and works between Rimini and Trieste.
