John Warwicker

Writer, musician, designer, John Warwicker is the co-founder of the multi-disciplinary creative studio Tomato, which has a portfolio spanning graphic design, typography, film and video direction, architectural design, art installations, interactive media, fashion and product design, branding and strategy, sound and music design.

Tomato has opened studios in London, Los Angeles and Melbourne and its transdisciplinary work has attracted global clients such as Adidas, AOL, Art & Australia, BMW, Canon, Casio, Chanel, Citroen, Clinique, CNN, Coca-Cola, Federation Square, French Connection, IBM, Intel, KDDI , Kodak, Levi’s, Lexus, L’Oreal, Microsoft, Mitsubushi, MTV, NEC, Nike, Nikon, Nokia, Nikon, Panasonic, Pepsi Cola, Philips, Porsche, Reebok, Renaul, Sapporo Government (Japan), Seiko, Sharp, Shishedo, Sony, Sony Playstation, Telstra, Time Warner, Tom Ford, Toyota, TV Asahi, Universal Pictures, Uniqlo, Volkswagen and Volvo.

John has been awarded by D&AD, the German Art Director’s Club, the Tokyo Director’s Club and has earned awards at the Australian Advertising awards. He is the first foreign member of the Tokyo Type Director’s Club and in 2012 was appointed the Professor of Design at Monash.
