David Simmonds

 David Simmonds is an award-winning photographer with 40 years experience in all areas of the photography industry. Currently specializing in architecture, corporate and industrial photography, he is passionately committed to the dynamic, creative process of making extraordinary images.

Since 1976 David has had over 21 solo and 15 group exhibitions. In 2000 Museum of Victoria acquired his Melbourne In Spires BIG picture exhibition as part of their permanent collection.

David’s images hang in many corporate and private collections in Australia and overseas. His work is represented in numerous Fuji-ACMP Collections and in AIPP Australian Professional Photographer’s Awards Collection.

He is a member of The Society of Australian Commercial & Media Photographers, is a past president, and current Chairman of the board. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Photography with distinction from RMIT.

David has been the principal photographer for AGIdeas Design week, and mentored the student photographic teams, since 2005.
