Cyan was founded 1992 by Daniela Haufe and Detlef Fiedler.

Together with one to four other designers, they create graphic design and corporate identity programs exclusively for cultural clients such as the Bauhaus Dessau, the Berlin State Opera, the Berlin National Gallery, the House of World Cultures, the German Federal Cultural Foundation and various galeries.

Haufe and Fiedler are members of the AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale), and taught as a professors of graphic design at different german universities.

They have been invited to exhibit their work and to give lectures and workshops worldwide.
