A prolific winner of design awards, Andreas Uebele is Founder and Director of the visual communications agency Büro Uebele in Stuttgart, which focuses on visual identity, signage and wayfinding systems, corporate communications and exhibitions. In recent years, Büro Uebele’s work has been honoured with more than 240 national and international awards, including the Red Dot: Grand Prix for communication design, one of Europe’s foremost design prizes, and the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany (Gold Award), that nation’s top design prize. The agency’s work is represented in many international collections and museums.
Since 2002, Andreas has been a member of the Type Directors Club of New York, the Art Directors Club of New York, the Art Directors Club Deutschland, a member of the German Design Council since 2005 and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale since 2007.
Andreas studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart and Graphic Design at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design. Since 1998 he has been a Professor of Communications Design at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.
