Anastasia Klose

Anastasia Klose is an artist whose work derives from humorous, awkward or memorable events drawn from her life.

Born in Melbourne in 1978, she went to Melbourne University and completed a Bachelor of Arts and also went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Drawing (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts. Since graduating in 2005, she has held solo exhibitions at Spacement Gallery and Tolarno Galleries in Melbourne, and has been in group exhibitions at ACCA, PICA, Utopian Slumps, VCA, Lismore Regional Gallery and Te Tuhi-The Mark (NZ).

In 2007, she was awarded the Prometheus Visual Arts Award, and she also exhibited in the Sydney Biennale in 2008.

She is currently based in Melbourne, and is represented by Tolarno Galleries.
