Alexia Sinclair

Alexia Sinclair is an award-winning Photographer and Digital Artist, producing both fine art and highly polished commercial campaigns. Her multi-layered photographs subtly present contemporary notions of fashion and beauty through innovative digital media, while restoring antique notions of classicism, elegance and luxury.

Alexia studied drawing, painting, sculpture and photography at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia.

She has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Portrait Gallery, the Australian Centre for Photography, the Samstag Museum and the Australian Embassy in Paris. In 2009, Alexia’s work was exhibited at the Pingyao International Photography Festival.

Alexia’s work has been recognised in the industry. In 2011, she was recognised in the Graphis 100 Best in Photography, and in 2007 she was the winner of the Harpers Bazaar Canon Fashion Photography Award. She has also been a finalist in the 2012 Hasselblad Masters, the 2011 Australian National Photographic Portrait Prize, and the 2006 Citigroup Photographic Portrait Prize Art Gallery of NSW.
