Alex Ritchie

A widely respected designer who has worked in Europe, America and Australia for more than 23 years, Alex Ritchie is Co-founder and Creative Director of E2, a multi-disciplinary design consultancy based in Sydney. He is current president of the Australian Graphic Design Association.

Alex’s skills enable him to think beyond the wider context of a building design to create innovative 2D and 3D interactive and immersive brand experiences. He has designed and managed the development of major retail, environmental, exhibition and brand-focused projects.

His deep understanding of branding is exemplified through his contribution to the development of London’s Millennium Dome, a project in which his team sought to brand the nation through an iconic structure.

Recent projects include a brand experience centre for Qantas, a flagship retail environment for SONY, Singleton Oglivy’s new workplace environment and China Telecom’s pavilion at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. A talented architect and lover of great design, Alex is a collector of 20th century chairs, British motorbikes and Australian art.
