Dr Christopher Heywood is Australia’s leading corporate real estate researcher investigating the connection between business premises and business outcomes. He has more than 60 papers to his credit on corporate real estate, asset management, facilities management, and energy efficiency.
He has been involved in industry driven research projects in Australia and Finland, including his own doctorate which investigated the role of affective psychology in local government corporate real estate management.
He has twice received best paper awards from the Pacific Rim Real Estate Society Conference in property management and was awarded an Outstanding Reviewer Award for the Property Management journal in 2014. He is on the editorial board of 3 international journals in the area of property and its management and particularly in the use of property for business ends. Industry Experience
