Research Expertise
Product Design, Product Styling, Product Branding, Product Strategy
Since 2009 I have been researching in the field product appearance focusing primarily the review of evolution/change in product appearance and its relationship with consumer perception of brand. In pursuing this research I have worked on numerous studies into iconic products (BMW and Apple) and packaging (Crown Lager). The work has resulted in highly rigorous and objective ways to review product appearance and ensure new designs fit brand strategy and consumer expectations. In addition to researching I am still a practicing designer working in Australia and the UK.
